Sheena Stebbing KCAI (CD) Sheena has been helping other people train their dogs since 1994. Sheena spent much of her childhood growing up on a farm in Reydon nr southwold. The family had many dogs taking in strays & unwanted dogs. After marrying Andy in 1978 & starting her family. Sheena got her first dog of her own "Rusty" a Border Collie X. after her son Ben started school. After losing Rusty in 1993 Sheena saw a Leonberger on the telly and spent months finding out about the breed. Sheena got her first Leo "Barney" in 1994 and started dog training with him, and there it all began! Within weeks Sheena was helping in classes and attending seminars & lectures all around the country. Sheena took up water rescue training and has done extremely well. Having the first Leonberger to pass D level, the first Leo to gain the highest E level, and the first Leo to gain the status of "Leonberger Club of GB Water Champion" Sadly Leonbergers have very much changed over the last few years, there has been mass breeding, many Leonbergers are now kennelled and do not have the life they need and deserve. Sheena
now has 2 Leonbergers Flossie 9 ½ &
Louis 6 years old a border collie Mist that came with her owner "
Sid" & a GSD puppy called Beamer. Sheena
has attended many lectures, workshops & seminars over the years. Sheena
worked through the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme and gained her Accreditation
in October 2006. Sheena holds by monthly mentoring sessions at WaggyTails and bi
monthly study meetings at WaggyTails for persons working through the scheme. Sheena
began WaggyTails in February 2001 After becoming disillusioned with committees.
Sheena wanted more soclisation and freedom to mix the dogs. |
